Open Access Policy

The Scientific Journal of Metaverse and Blockchain Technologies (SJMBT) is committed to the principles of Open Access publishing. We believe in the free, immediate, and unrestricted access to scholarly research and aim to ensure that the latest developments in the fields of metaverse technology, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and blockchain technology are available to a global audience without any financial barriers.

1. Accessibility : All articles published in the Journal are freely accessible to anyone with internet access immediately upon publication. There is no subscription fee, registration requirement, or any other form of access restriction.

2. Licensing : Articles are typically published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY NC), this license requires that re-users give credit to the creator. It allows re-users to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, for noncommercial purposes only.

3. Archiving and Preservation : The Journal ensures the long-term availability and preservation of its content through various digital archives and repositories like LOCKSS and CLOCKSS.

4. No Subscription or Paywalls : In line with our Open Access ethos, there are no subscription fees or paywalls placed on any of our published content. All research articles, reviews, editorials, and other content types are available for free.

5. Quality and Peer Review : Adherence to Open Access does not compromise the quality and rigor of our publication process. All submissions undergo a thorough peer-review process to maintain high academic and research standards.

6. Costs : The Journal may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of the publication process. This fee is typically borne by the author's institution or funding body and is not a barrier to publication. Read more about our APC Policy.
